The University of Houston Heavily Invested In The For-Profit Prison

UniversityofHouston_ElementaryGenocide

The University of Houston is recognized as a Carnegie Tier One university, and boasts an enrollment of 40,000 students. It is the second most ethnically diverse major research university in the most diverse city in the US. It is also heavily invested in the for-profit prison industry, which capitalizes on the human misery of the populations that it is so proud to serve.

For-profit prison corporations use the money from investors to lobby for more laws and policies that create felons and lock up non-violent offenders. “Three strikes” laws, “tough on crime” laws, punitive drug laws, and harsh immigration policies have increased the number of people in prisons. Those targeted are primarily people of color, immigrants, and the indigent.

Demand #PrisonDivest, SIGN PETITION

From 1990 to 2009 the number of people in private prisons increased by 1600%, and in 2010 alone, the two largest for-profit prison corporations raked in revenue of almost $3 billion dollars.

The University of Houston should not sully its reputation by its continued investment in the prison industry. Divesting from prison corporations denies them the funds for lobbying efforts and sends the message that profit from human misery will not be tolerated.

Texas Teacher Arrested After Video Shows Her Repeatedly Hitting Student

School_Teacher_Abuse_Student_Elementary_Genocide

BEAUMONT, Texas —A high school math teacher is facing an assault charge after video surfaced of her hitting a student at least five times in class.

CBS affiliate KFDM reported Mary A. Hastings, a 63-year-old geometry teacher at Ozen High School, was arrested and has been placed on paid leave.

The cellphone video, recorded by a classmate, shows Hastings swiping papers off the student’s desk then slapping him five times.

SEE VIDEO HERE

Hastings, who appears exasperated, scolds the student for being a disruption. She hit the student while saying, “…because you’re stopping him from graduating you idiot [expletive].”

The student who recorded the footage told KFDM the incident happened Friday morning. It was unclear exactly what provoked Hastings to strike the student.

“BISD does not condone employees abusing any child and will not tolerate such conduct,” Beaumont Independent School District spokeswoman Nakisha Burns said in a statement. “The teacher was immediately removed from the classroom and placed on administrative leave pending action on her contract.”

Hastings was booked into the Jefferson County jail on a misdemeanor count of assault. She posted $2,500 bond and was later released on a $2,500 bond.

She has taught in the district for three years, according to KFDM.

Haters Try To Discredit Success of Award Winning Documentary

Screen shot 2016-04-07 at 9.49.50 AM Screen shot 2016-04-07 at 9.49.40 AM

It was only a matter of time before the haters start coming out to discredit the progress being made to dismantle the school to prison pipeline.

An article titled, “Dear White Progressive Friends of Blacks…” calls the Elementary Genocide documentary series another, “Colonized Negro Grievance Straight To DVD Production” and “Hidden Colors” fraudulent.

The title alone reveals the sinister motive behind the article is to cuddle up to white folks. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing told us, “to be aware of Greeks bearing gifts”. They call themselves progressive, but don’t really want to see you progress.

Let me say this… I’m not here to placate white guilt, or to minimize the truth about the open enemy. Your diabolical, anti-black social brainwashing scheme is a failed attempt. Both Elementary Genocide and Hidden Colors has been well received and our people are waking up to the startling truth.

If you think they are mad now, wait until I drop Elementary Genocide 3: Academic Holocaust. lol

Texas School Threatens To Arrest Parents Who Walk Children Home

Bear-Branch-Elementary-School-640x480

Parents in Houston, Texas are in an uproar over a new policy that prohibits them from picking up their children. Those who disregard the policy are told they will be subjected to trespassing charges or truancy classes.

Bear Branch Elementary School Principal Holly Ray changed the afterschool pickup policy this year. In September, Houston’s KPRC 2 News (NBC) reported the new rule prohibited parents from walking to the Magnolia Independent School District campus to retrieve their own children. Parents cannot drive to the school, park their cars at the school, or go inside to get their children early. Their options are to send their children home by school bus or drive to the school and wait for their children in a very long pickup car line assembling for the 3:25 p.m. dismissal. A lot of parents are unhappy about the change. However, a school district spokesperson told KPRC 2 that the intent of the policy was to ensure the safety of the 639 students enrolled.

All these months later, parents remain in a uproar over the policy, especially those who live in the neighborhood and/or are close enough to walk to school. Parents like Wendy Jarman, who lives behind Bear Branch, expressed such frustration with the situation that she pulled her children out of the elementary school and placed them in private school. She spoke to Houston’s Fox 26 about the policy, saying about Ray: “She’s threatening to arrest people.”

Take Your Documentary To The Next Level & Make $100,000 in 6 Months

Back in the days independent filmmakers felt the need to align themselves with a distributor. Oftentimes, they signed exclusive deals and the lion share of their profit was split with said company.

Today, you can self-distribute your own film via your website. Times have changed for the better.

Below is an example of how you can successfully get your product to your target audience.

During the trailer release phase of your documentary it’s important to create marketing assets, and videos to distribute on your Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

If you have notable individuals in your documentary or film with a large following or star power, get them to share across all their social media platforms.

If you decide to use Amazon or ITunes for your digital release, encourage customers to leave you a review. You’ll be surprise how many new customers you’ll get from 5 star reviews.

I prefer to use Amazon as oppose to ITunes (This will require another post to go in depth). With Amazon, you can retain the customers information. This help tremendously when we released Elementary Genocide 2, because we were able to get hundreds of pre-orders within 24 hours by contacting previous buyers.

iTunes has too many restrictions and you’ll never know who your customers are or the geographical location the bulk of your selling are coming from. You want to know your stronghold, so when it’s time to do screening or lectures you’re guaranteed a sold out crowd.

A lot of people think the DVD market is dead and it’s not. You can make hundreds of thousand in DVD sales alone. Especially, if you’re selling them at your screening. Viewers that are intrigued with the subject matter will oftentimes purchase a copy to show to family and friends.

Digital distribution is passive income. You’ll be surprised when those monthly checks hit your account.

Anyone interested in obtaining guarantee results and have a workable budget, send me an email and let talk business.
